"Maaloula. Syria"

Etude from "Syria-Lebanon" travel series. 30x24 sm. Acrylic on canvas. 2023.  A trip to Syria and Lebanon in 2009 inspired the series "Syria-Lebanon", which was exhibited in several exhibitions in different countries. The painting depicts the Christian Convent in Maaloula. Unfortunately, it was heavily damaged by militants during the war in 2013.  Expressive brushstroke style.  Varnish protection.
